Welcome!

I set up as a freelance book designer about 20 years ago. I work on a wide range of books – both children’s and adults’, fiction and non-fiction – and have worked with Barefoot Books, BBC Books, Bloomsbury, Bunker Hill Publishing, Faber & Faber, Faber Music, Fourth Estate, Ivy Press, Julian Calder Publishing, Leopold, Levinson Books, Little Tiger Press, Lucy Loveheart Creations, Macmillan Children’s Books,  Methuen, the National Maritime Museum, the Natural History Museum, Nosy Crow, Orchard, Orion Children’s Books, Oxford University Press, Phoenix Yard Books, Piccadilly Press, Pimento, Random House Children’s Books, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Spellmount Press, Tango Books, Terra, Tucker Slingsby, Van Goor, Zero to Ten and Zirkoon; and am currently working on projects with Alanna Max, b small publishing, Books for Keeps Magazine, Grasshopper Productions, the Forward Arts Foundation, Troika Books, Umbria Press, the Wimbledon International Music Festival and ZazaKids Books.

I have been fortunate enough to work with some incredibly talented individuals, sometimes quite early on in their careers and with others at the peak of their powers.

I have also had the joy of working with some of the most well-loved characters in children’s publishing – Babar, Tintin, Winnie-the-Pooh and the wonderful animals in Wind in the Willows.
